Using our NX CAM postprocessors the customer gets the possibility to create and edit control programs that operate CNC machines.
Our practical experience

We have built in the procedures for error detection at the stage of technological design into the postprocessor’s source code. This is the procedure that ensures the high level of safety of control programs. For example, the postprocessor will not start the operation and will send an error message in case the spindle speed hasn’t been set, or the tool is already in use or if it hasn’t been chosen. The list of errors is set up by customer’s engineers.

We develop a postprocessor taking into account all the particulars of a certain machine. It means that we will take care of all the operations, such as automatic tool change, machine layout, that is of special importance for multiaxis CNC machines, to safely move the tool away before the coordinates of the rotary axis can be changed.

We achieve the highest possible level of automation of all the mechanical processing procedures such as milling, turning and drilling due to combination of user’s experience, standard functions of CNC machine tools and adjustments that are possible to make inside the control program.

Our postprocessors support all the coordinate system transformation functions available on the machine: G68.2 / CYCLE800 / PLANE SPATIAL for 5-axis positional (3 + 2 axis) processing and G43.4 / TRAORI / M128 for 5-axis continuous processing.
If a milling machine is a 4- or 5-axis machine, but the CNC does not have standard adjustment functions, we can add our own functions that increase the technological capacity of the equipment beyond its installed capacity.
The absence of standard coordinate system transformation functions on a turning-milling machine with a driven tool on a turret will not be an obstacle for milling in the radial direction either.
For processing details in the axial direction our postprocessors support the G12.1 / TRANSMIT polar coordinate interpolation function.
In addition, special functions for such mechanisms of the turning-milling machine as tailstock, counter spindle, steady rest, bar feeder and finished parts catcher can also be built into the postprocessor.

For example, if the machine is equipped with a counter spindle, the postprocessor makes it possible to process the workpiece in both spindles using one control program that does not require interruption of processing procedures for the purpose of adjustment by the operator after transferring the workpiece to the counter spindle.
At the same time it is possible to return the workpiece back to the main spindle during processing by means of the same control program.
Such functions are especially useful for the efficient operation of two-channel turning-milling machines. If necessary, the postprocessor can also support tool part and / or cutting tool measurement cycles.

Prior to implementation, each postprocessor is tested at the Customer’s production site through manufacturing a sample.
We provide the instruction for each postprocessor.
We provide 12 months technical support.

We have practical experience in development and implementation of postprocessors for most types of layouts of milling and turning-milling machines equipped with Fanuc, Siemens Sinumerik control units.
